Shopify's eCommerce businesses saw their revenue jump 25% globally during Black Friday

The average ticket was $117,93, and the best-selling products were cosmetics, sportswear, and fitness and nutrition products.

Although there is still a hangover from the sales, Black Friday is over and some companies are starting to give the preliminary results of their campaigns.

Anticipating the official announcement, Harley Finkelstein , president of the eCommerce platform Shopify , published a post on his official LinkedIn account with a very positive summary of the campaign:

“The results of Black Friday are already here.

Businesses using Shopify generated $6.200 billion (approximately €5.332 billion) in total sales on Friday, a 25% increase year-over-year (22% at constant exchange rates). A record day for the entrepreneurs driving this platform.

Consumer spending surged at 12:01 PM EST, when sales peaked at $5,1 million per minute. The average checkout order value was $117,93 (€101,42).
