Shopify's eCommerce businesses saw their revenue jump 25% globally during Black Friday

The average ticket was $117,93, and the best-selling products were cosmetics, sportswear, and fitness and nutrition products.

Aeven though there's still a hangover of offers, el Black Friday It's over. and some companies are starting to give the preliminary results of their campaigns.

Anticipating the official statement, the president of the eCommerce platform Shopify, Harley Finkelstein, published a post on their official LinkedIn account with a very positive summary of the campaign:

“The results of Black Friday are already here.

Businesses using Shopify generated $6.200 billion (about €5.332 billion) in total sales on Friday, a 25% more than last year (22% based on constant currency). A record day for the entrepreneurs driving this platform.

Consumer spending spiked at 12:01 PM EST, when sales peaked with $5,1 million per minute. El average ticket at checkout it was 117,93 dollars (101,42 euros).

The categories of product with highest order volume were: cosmetics, tops, sportswear and fitness and nutrition products.
